Whats with all the injury??

Today I heard about the news that Sachin will not be playing against England in the ODIs. The reason given by some BCCI spokesperson was that he has shoulder injury, which he had for a long time.

Whats up with all these injuries??

If ppl say that his poor form was because of his injury....then answer this...

If he had injury why was he allowed to play in the first place....
When Greg Chappell came into the team, he told that talent and fitness are the criteria to be in the team... Where are you Greg??? Is Sachin different from all others? For BCCI, politicians, and AD makers...yes, but for you???

I agree that he has won many matches for India, but as per Greg, any player should "play" to be in the team and his previous record doesn't matter. How come that matters in Sachins' case alone??

When any other player is not included in the squad, they called it "being dropped", but for Sachin..."Oh... he's got injury !!"

I know this is quite a sensitive topic, but this is my view. If you wish, you can tell yours.

I do not much about cricket.
So cannot comment much. However there is one thing which I would like to say. Cricket is highly competitive and by nature of it, is played for a country and so it is above any player. Now if anyplayer is not performing he should be replaced as it gives chance to young budding talent. No one will forget what you did, but there is a limit to which one can contribute. This limit is best known by person and should be respected failing to which causes a crisis such as Ganguly. All players are professionals, who earn lot of money for the thing they do, a rare phenomena in the professional world. Hence it should be dealt with professionalism and through matters of heart.

By the way the clock and links are way too cool :)
